Irwin- Demolition Hammer

While working for NEWELL BRANDS Corporate Advanced Technology team, I was involved in several early investigations on projects covering several Brands for Newell such as Rubbermaid Commercial, Irwin, Hilmor, Calphalon, Ball, etc. This project was to investigate a Demolition Hammer that had a unique feature an adjustable jaw that could grip one or more 2 x 4 lumber during the tear out phase of a renovation project. The closed adjustable jaw could also serve as drywall pick for quick penetration in the wall during demo. The demolition hammer would include additional features such as pry bar and nail puller. The forced carbon steel hammer with TPE handle grip was targeted to cost $99.00 at retail.
